This is really great. I’ve read these over (and over), and I think what really gets me is the lack of flesh. It’s all trees and wind and gnawing mechanics. What a foreign place. Your tree planting experience rings out in these parts, but you’ve left yourself out of the picture and the effect is a mystic landscape. I think they pair nicely with your photographic posts from last year; “snow ghosts,” “winter waves,” “a view,” etc.
